Elm`s Court Dog park VIC
Design
The garden areas within the park have been designed to catch water flow through the site, which helps to reduce runoff and the amount of water needed for irrigation. Rock mulch was used extensively in garden beds, to help reduce the desire of dogs to go digging amongst the planting.
A variety of agility equipment was installed for dogs of all sizes, whilst two large Grillex shelters provide shading, seating and picnic areas for their owners. There’s also a large doggy sand pit, which has been framed with timber logs.

Project
Gowanbrae is a popular suburb for young families in the north of Melbourne. Following a consultation with residents, Merri-bek City Council contracted Urbania to transform a sizeable area of existing green space into a much needed dog park.
Elm’s Court Dog Park, as it is now known, is around 2,500m2 and was designed with two key plays zones. One for larger dogs and one for small and infirm dogs. The entire park has been fenced to ensure dogs can play freely, which required the installation of 313 lineal metres of fencing.
Deliverables
This sizeable landscaping project included bulk earthworks, concreting, drainage, as well as a soft and hard landscape package that included:
